Shift Knobs
After discovering the process of turning, I decided to begin designing and creating shift knobs. These are designed with a strong emphasis on ergonomics and function while still being beautiful timeless objects. This piece is cherry with a linseed oil finish, creating an easibly refinishable surface to compensate for the high contact and abrasion recieved in use.
EDC Organizer
This is a one-off piece designed for a very specific and personal set of items carried everyday. Besides dimensioning the lumber, it was made entirely by hand, using hand planes, chisels, gouges and other hand tools. This cherry piece, finished with danish oil was designed and crafted using a single piece of wood with no joinery or hardware to become an interesting, functional object for Furniture Design Studio.
