This project focuses on staying true to material and using the properties of felt to its advantage.  Layers of felt with cutouts, slits, and stitching serve as both functional and aesthetic design elements.  One of the main benefits of using felt for this is it’s ability to hold a raw edge as well as it’s soft protective qualities.  This case is designed to hold the basic GoPro Hero 3 and 4 series kits with some extra pockets for extra parts acquired over time.  This is a final prototype made for a project using non-woven materials during my time at RIT. It is currently used daily despite it being made as a protoype.
